I love to share the timeless teachings of yoga and meditation. It is my intention to create an environment where students have the freedom and encouragement to connect to their inherent wisdom.

I started practicing yoga in 1995 to alleviate pain due to a sports related injury, it worked, and I have enjoyed practicing ever since. In 2002 I became a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and began teaching yoga throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Meditation has been a major influence in my teaching style and in my life. In 2002 I met my main teacher, Pujari, and have attended many retreats at his center. I have had the good fortune to study with many master teachers locally and from around the United States. Some of these teachers include; Judith Lasater, Shiva Rea, Donna Farhi, Charlotte Bell, and Marlene Lambert. The combination of information I have received from these teachers as well as a dedicated personal practice has led to a strong foundation in understanding yoga and mindfulness. I am also an MBSR qualified teacher.
